First Day on the job...

Today was Ken's first day to work, I think it is colder today than all other days. I walked Ken to the office, made a few calls, had lunch at Canteen and then went on my way.
Canteen....an experience to say the least! There are several items on a board, you order, pay and then join an
assembly line where they serve you the food. I ordered salted chicken, lets just say, I think I am going vegetarian!
Yipes! The skin was soggy, bland yellow with goose pimples still on it, just as if they had just plucked the feathers out of it! Then there were bones and everything in between chopped up! Luckily I have a strong stomach and can look at it, but certainly did not eat it! Just a few photos of our outings the past two days.

Yesterday there were a lot of places still closed because of the New Year, tomorrow everything should be open again. The fourth image is a store that has clothes by the pound, the store lays the bags in front of their shops and the women go to town rummaging through things.  The blur of people is the view from Ken's office and the last image is of course occupy Hong Kong! When will it end?
Tomorrow we apply for our resident cards! Hopefully with a little bit nicer weather.
